Paris hotels are notoriously small but this hotel, while not having large rooms, has large bathrooms and makes good use of the minimal room space - you can move around, there is closet space, and there are balconies with views of Notre Dame and Sacre Coer. The kettle and tea/coffee plus fridge are hugely welcome. We are a family of four, had two rooms, and stayed here during Bastille Day - the planes flew right overhead and we had a great view from the balconies! We were on the fifth floor. The beds are firm, which I like. The rooms are spotless. We tipped the cleaner 5 Euros on our check out because she was so friendly and good. Breakfast is a great deal compared to cafes around here, especially if you want lots of coffee as it is endless. If you stay here be sure to visit the Roman ampitheatre across the street, it is easy to miss the entrance if you don't know to look for 'The Arene'. It's a lovely spot to have a picnic and watch the locals playing boules. The wifi works fine and the room we stayed in was recently decorated. It was very clean. Bonus: Free English (New York Times) and French newspapers daily!

Travelled here with my daughter in September 2022. The hotel is in a great location, very close to two different Metro lines with easy transfers. The room and bathroom were very clean and both rooms had either dormer windows and/or small balconies that you could stand and really enjoy the classical rooftops of Paris! We could see the Basilica of Sacré Coeur de Montmartre from our bathroom balcony and were grateful we had a quieter street within the Latin Quarter. They had what appeared to be a very nice breakfast area that we did not try as there is an award winning Patisserie just down the street (Boulangerie guyot geraldine) with out of this world pastries and baguette. There is also a restaurant two doors down that is well ranked on Tripadvisor (Hugo & Co.). There is an elevator in this small hotel, which we appreciated. Many other food options nearby and many interesting Paris sites as well (Jardin du Plante AND an old roman ampitheatre [Arenes' de Lutece)

The location of the hotel is excellent. The tourist attractions were just a 40 minute walk away but, if you're not up for the walk, there's also a Metro station just a minute's walk away from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good value for money. The best thing about the hotel was the receptionist and team, they were really friendly, professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Friendly reception. Nice informal vibe. The room was very small, but care had been taken to furnish it effectively, the decoration and lighting were pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. It was good to have a kettle with tea/coffee provided in the room. Also, it was a nice touch to provide a corkscrew (French wine bottles still have corks!) The location had plenty of shops and cafes, good metro link, and felt quite safe.

The room, although small, had good facilities - the bed was comfortable and everything in the bathroom worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We appreciated having a kettle in the room. The hotel's location is very good indeed, with two Metro lines close by, and walking distance to the River Seine.
