We knew as soon as Mustafa greeted us to check in that this was going to be a good stay. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff with good tips for where to head for dinner and any other questions we had a long the way. Shout out to Ahmed and Nour too who were also really friendly and helpful both when we arrived and with the questions I had in advance (we needed twin beds so reached out to them). All had exceptional English on reception too. So many reviews mention the rooms being small but this is a beautiful, old building in Paris. This is my 4th trip to Paris and all the hotel rooms are this size and more than adequate size for a base in this beautiful city. The room was really comfortable with great mattresses and air con on what was a hot summer’s week. We had windows facing the pretty street so could look out of Juliet balconies from both the room or bathroom! The location is perfect and the favourite of all my Paris stays. 2 minute walk from two different metro stations on different lines (7 & 10), bus stops near by & the lovely Place Contrascarpe 2 minutes walk away with a great area for food or drinks and steeets leaning away from it. You can walk to the Pantheon in 10 minutes or Notre Dame and river in under 15 minutes. We were there for the Olympics and there was a fan zone in the arena de lutece opposite which was great too. Breakfast was good and the kitchen staff really helpful and friendly despite more limited English. It was served until 10.30 but if you walked in at 10.25 they kept it out until you finished which I thought was exceptional service! We can’t recommend this hotel enough - the staff and location are just perfect.

The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to a lot of the areas we were visiting, and to the central attractions (whether museums, restaurants, gardens, etc.) The staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and kind. Fahed made sure to accommodate us in the friendliest way possible. We visited for our honeymoon and were looking to have a balcony in our bedroom and Fahed did his best to ensure we get to celebrate the way we want to. Tariq and Moustafa are so kind and welcoming too. The pillows and mattress were superrr comfortable and exceeded our sleep expectations each night. My husband and I both agreed that when we are back in Paris, we would book the same hotel, specifically because of how amazing the staff is♥️ Thank you Fahed, Tariq, and Moustafa😊

Typical Parisian 3 star hotel. Nothing very fancy or bad. If you expect big room - forget it. Standart rooms around 3 star hotels in Paris usually are quite small. The breakfast is quite simple, with limited choice of food: scrambled eggs prepared from powder, sausages and baked ham; one or two types of cheese; jams; cereels; pastries of several types, but not freshly made (warmed up); three types of juices; coffee machine and tea; VERY limited choice of fruits (two bananas - not every day, several apples).

Great Location. Easy walk to Notre Dame/Paris centre, metro was nearby plus lots of cafes and restaurants. It was close to Rue Mouffetard (market/food shops) and the Sorbonne area which I liked. It didn't feel over the top touristy like some parts of Paris. Staff were very friendly and the room very clean. I loved the long floor to ceiling windows which opened out to a wrought iron railing (felt very parisienne) and to a nice street view (but not noisy). I would definitely stay here again!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly . Rooms were very good and the beds were very comfortable . There room was quiet with the windows shut even though we were on a busy street . Locations was excellent lots lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance as well as metro stations . Interesting hidden Roman amphitheatre across the road !. Great area for a base to explore the rest of Paris .
